Who Are We?
We are a parent's co-operative group, providing an after school care programme at Karori West Normal School.
We are based in the Demo Room and operate daily from 3:00pm to 5:45pm during school terms.
The Parents form a committee to manage the group and to employ experienced childcare workers to run the programme. We are also registered as an incorporated society.
We are CYF (Child, Youth and Family) approved.
What is the Programme?
Our programme starts as soon as school has finished and continues up to 5:45pm. We have a manager, senior and assistant supervisors, ensuring excellent supervision at all times.
Afternoon tea of juice, fruit, biscuits are provided, followed by optional toast with spreads.
We have a wide range of sporting equiptment, board games and activities avilable, also a television that is used sparingly. Art and Craft activities, baking and indoor and outdoor games are part of the weekly activities.
How Much Does it Cost?
The Fees are currently $52.00 per week for each child attending fulltime. Part time Fees are $12.50 per day.
Fees are paid by an automatic payment fortnightly in advance.
We only provide for permanent places, we are unable to offer a service for casuals.
If you meet the WINZ eligibility criteria, WINZ can assitst you with an OSCAR subsidy on our fees.

To Enrol you'll then need to complete an Enrolment form and a Parent Agreement.
If we do not currently have a place available you can join our waiting list.
