Friends of the School F.o.S
What is F.o.S?
FoS is a group parents and teachers who work together to
- Support and promote Karori West Normal School
- Arrange fundraising adn social events for the school
Our meetings to organise these activities are informal and friendly.
How do I join?
Just come along to a meeting these are advertised in the school newsletter, or ask at the office for a list of FoS members and come with someone you know.
WHEN and WHERE does FoS meet?
Meetings are called only when there is an activity to be arranged. They become more frequent (weekly or fortnightly) close to an event. We usually meet on a Wednesday evening, meetings are held in the school staffroom.
What am I letting yourself in for if you join?
FoS members take on the amount and type of work with which they are comfortable. Some members help in some way on all activities others concentrate their efforts into one of our big events. We work together as a dedicated team, enjoy what we do and have lots of fun.
Why not come to a meeting?
You can see for yourself that FoS meetings really are low key and friendly and decide whether you'd like to join the group. We are always keen for new ideas and opinions and would welcome your involvement.
